i said the end of agent bobby roe was a joke in my post, the same thing with 257 weeks. it was at the bottom of the post. i thought i was being clever...

anyhoo, james taylor does a song called mexico. and a local band from pennsylvania called okay paddy do a song called another day.

and there's gotta be someone else out there with a song called ocean. i just can't think of one.

here are some "close but no cigar"s:

things we said - the beatles (things we said today)
ocean - fastball (you're an ocean)
back to me - john mayer (back to you)
still here - john rzeznik (i'm still here)
wonder - the benjamins (wonderful) and everclear (wonderful)
don't look back - oasis (don't look back in anger)

has anyone ever heard of a band named nine days wonder? i found it interesting that their name is a combination of one our favorite bands (nine days, obviously) and one of nine days's songs. crazy...

Actually, the Vertical Horizon song is "I'm Still Here" and not "Still Here". Close, but no go.

Rzezknik went solo for "I'm Still Here". it was on the soundtrack of disney's Treasure Planet.

Then there's the new single "I'm Still Here" by Vertical Horizon, which seems to be getting big.
