Question for smart people...

how long since you've eaten m&ms?? they havn't had light brown for ages

hey, i may have tasted the brown poop m&m, but i never said i enjoyed it. then again, i never said i didn't either...

Er, I wasn't expecting to hijack the entire thread with my M&M shenanigans!

Exactly how many different varieties of M&M's do you people have in America?! We have peanut (Yellow bag), chocolate (Brown bag) and now crispy (Blue bag).........

Almond/Peanut butter flavours are a mystery to me.....

i prefer regular m&m's over minis any day. also, during christmas time, they usually have mint m&m's, which rock my socks off. all are good except almond (because i don't like almonds).

they have them. they come in a tannish, light-brown bag. yuck.

I taste them apart from the nutty m+m's allergic
I much prefer Smarties! and the orange one is my favourite and pink! mmm

Maybe coz of the colour, we expect to taste a flavour the colour normally is!?
it's all psychological which is y i cant eat green coloured ketchup well only with my eyes shut coz then it tastes the same and not so... so.... green!
and maybe thats y i taste chocolate and y i taste blue food colouring as i dont really associate blue with food!
but if they all tasted the same y make them different colours!! i put that question to all u non-believers!
wasn't it in a film (the wedding planner i think it was) where a guy said i only eat the brown ones because they have less colouring..... now if they dont have the flavouring of chocolate to make the shell brown without using colourings, then they'd have to mix red, yellow and blue to make the brown colour which would give it an overall higher colouring content than all the other m+m's. am i to believe if they all taste the same that the guy that wrote the wedding planner was totally stupid and uninformed about m+m colourants? actually dont answer that!

maybe (and this is just absolutely insanity, i know, but please throw common sense out the window) they're different colors because that makes them more catching to the eye, gives them more flare, makes them appear fancier, and thus makes them more fun to eat. for the same reason there's gree colored ketchup... it's just more interesting looking.

of course, you're probably right. i, for one, think that lemon and chocolate go together extremely well. almost as well as tuna and pudding.
