good screamin' parts

good screamin' parts

ok ok. so aside from singing along with entire songs, there are just some phrases that need to be yelled loudly when listening to them. for me, one of these include "had a beer as they watch bobby sink into the bay," and, of course, the last "cause you are the only oneeeeeee!!!" in revolve.

am i crazy or does anyone else have any phrases that demand a good shout?

No, I mean the band. And the Animals as a band don't do too much for me, either.

I just haven't gotten into the mass "worship the Beatles" idea. Their music doesn't do anything for me.

"I know that nobody knows
where it comes from
or where it goes
or the time you will find"

"Born with a heart defect
I am a father?s son
One day I will be here
The next day I?ll be gone
So could I steal a moment of your time
A dreamer?s eyes are always open wide"

and my fave

"I will not waste my time here..."

and yess helter skelter "I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!!!!!"

That one line in the moment that goes "and i won't let you ever fade like a songbird wasted in la and if we fall down breakin up along the way i'll pick you up and that's a promise that i'll never break" I just love that part. I always sing along to that as loud as i can.

i think the beatles are the best band ever and it's not because of mass peer pressure. i know the history, i know their musical progression, i know the other music that was going on during their era, and they truly are the most innovative band. every band since them have had them as an influence, even if they don't know it because they created a lot of standards for rock music. do you have to worship them? no. do you have to even like them? no. but at least give them the respect they deserve and give credit where credit is due.

Yea a bit off topic but i've always loved the beatles. I got a little cartoon of them to hang on my wall.

I completely recognize the fact that they revolutionized music and have influenced many, many bands who I listen to myself. Doesn't mean I have to like their music. Some songs are alright, but they're not my cup of tea.

But I give credit where it's due.

thank you, mike. as long as you give credit where its due, i'm content. but it would be nice if you listened to genesis's suggestion. if those albums don't change your opinion, then the beatles really aren't your thing.

Its not Ninedays (obviously) but Robbie Williams - Angels. The chorus. "And through it AAAALLLLLLL". Just about 20 minutes ago.
