I want suggestions again!

I think I did this last year too..

I need to make a new CD for the car. Now that the weather is getting nice and toasty, I want to make a CD with all types of great tunes (preferably ones I don't know) that I can blast with the windows and moonroof open!

Colleen had the suggestion of the year with her July for Kings song last time...


Give me groups and song names. I need to be able to download the song, or you have to email it to me. Im not buying any music to make this compliation. And thats that!

insomniac was their "punkest", i think (not including their first two independent albums). i actually like it better than dookie as a whole. the great songs on dookie are better than the great songs on insomniac, but overall, insomniac is a more rockin' album.

that aside, here's my suggestions:

motion city soundtrack: the future freaks me out
perfect teeth

harvey danger: meetings with remarkable men (show me the hero)

eve 6 - at least we're dreaming

matchbox twenty - feel

dexter freebish - prozak (be like me)

the network - their entire "money money 2020" album

those are some somewhat recent songs i suggest. a lot of genesis's suggestions rocked, including foo, GD and the beatles.

Go to http://www.amirsmusicworld.com and then go 'The Bands' page. Check out the songs in blue, those would be the new singles out now. Specifically, you should check out:

Ben Jelen - Come On
Gavin DeGraw - I Don't Want To Be
Ludo - Hum Along
Zed - Hard To Find Her
The Rasmus - In The Shadows
Radford - Fake A Smile

There are many more, and of course those are just new songs. There are plenty of recommended songs by hundreds of bands to check out. A couple of those songs you can actually download for free, legally, from my site, which you can do from the 'First Listens' page.
