Please help the out of towner!!!

Hi! I would love to go to the show on June 12th..
But being from chicago and having never been to New York, I have NO idea where to begin.
What is the closest airport? any suggestions on hotels?
Please help me!!!

Closest airport is islip (isp),but its not necessarily the cheapest. Or the easiest to fly into.

Best bets may be JFK or Laguardia (LGA)

If you are coming in JUST for the show, you can get some hotels on LI for pretty cheap. If you are coming to NY to see the show AND see NYC, get a hotel in NYC and just take the Long Island Rail Road out to Farmingdale the day of the show.


Clearly, its more $$$ to stay in NYC, but it would be a shame to come to NY and see Long Island and not the city.

Mariana and I saw the cheapest tickets in southwest.com flying to islip
so we got those
we are getting there friday morning then driving to the city
to have fun friday and staying somewhere in there.
I have a coupon for a one night at a marriott but i dunno if theyll let use it for manhattan
then saturday we will be driving back to farmingdale area and staying at a hotel there.
