saw it last night...it was pretty good

Saw it last night.
.... Your standard 'epic' fodder. It was the variety of accents and native tongues of the actors and actresses that made me smile. Ha. Not one of them even remotely Greek. And how would Brad Pitt have had those streaks put into his hair back then? Lemon juice? ..... Curious.
It's based on a fictional poem... Two of them if you want to count the horse... And from what I understand, it leaves out the GODS!

after seeing it, i wanted to read the illiad because it seemed like a lot of things were made up for the movie. also, i couldn't stop laughing whenever i saw eric "the hulk" bana's face. i was waiting for him to turn green and get huge and kill all the greeks. still, he was the best character in the movie, with the king of troy, peter o'toole, being a close second.
