from NY to London I think
It would be attached to the bottom of the ocean via cables and would move constantly due to the ocean currents. Working in a vacuum (to avoid wind resistance), the mag-lev train would go several thousand miles per hour to make the trip in about 70 minutes. it would take about 15 minutes for the train to get up to speed so not to make everyone nauseous. The chairs youd sit in would automatically curve and move as needed to make the trip comfortable as passengers.
now THAT is cool. Imagine going to London for dinner on Sat night.
