Indeed Sofi! I think Owen has been a lot better... these are definately NOT his best days.

Did you watch any of the first half? He lost possesion the whole time. The team did really well, got the ball right up their end, and then Owen just gave the ball away. He wasn't in a particularly difficult situation either, and it happened about 4 times.

Beckham hasn't been great this tournament either. He seems quite lazy, just walking around the pitch.

Owen also hasn't been anywhere near as good as he once was. He's so much slower nowadays it's amazing, and he seems a little unsure of what to do when he gets the ball.

Today I did a very strange thing... I'm sure everyone here will put his money on Portugal, I didn't! I put my money on England, so IF they win I'll win a whole lot... so they'd better win! Then I'll support and love them the rest of my life, I will!

If they win they'll meet The Netherlands, now that will be a great game!

Portugal v England is goin 2 b tough, it'll end 2-2 and then anyone could win it in extra time or even penalties?!?! Rooney is tremendous at the mo but Ronaldo is too, either one could pull something special out of the bag.

Relating to the above, Beckham has not been lazy, he's been up and down the right for all three games, defending and attacking. He doesnt stand out as much because the whole team is playing so well, and we dont even look at our best. And as far as Owen is concerned, he's just been unlucky, when it counts he will produce the goods, just like Scholes 1st goal n 3 years, he just kept playin well and scored when it was most needed, Owen will do the same.

Let's just hope England do us all proud!!

Oh maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, this was bad I lost a lot with this result.... grrrrr.... Beckham is the loser of the century!

Ok Genesis, I have to give you credits for Owen, he played pretty good. The first 20 and the last 10 minutes were pretty good, they had some chances, but between those minutes it was just so bad, I've never seen England playing that bad. It was really horrible.... Playing on the 1-0 for 67 minutes, hoping Portugal won't score... Oh no that's so Italian...

But man, what a good defense! Campbell, Cole and especially Terry were excellent defenders! Really world class, I'll miss them in the further tournament!

I could have sworn he was Portugeuse...

He's evil and he's swiss. I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd been knifed by football fans on thursday night. From the first minute he was terrible.
