all this talk of fun is making me depressed,
however right now i am listening to one of the greatest versions of 'video killed the radio star' ever.
ah the good old days...

if i had another $250 to spare,
i would totally hop on a plane and attend a monday night show or two.

On the sign outside the Village Pub, it says "10 Week Residency," so there are 8 more shows. Therefore, August 30th is the last show.

HILARY there were requests for Video Killed the Radio Star last night, except John gave Stephanie and Jen (girls I went to hs with who are biiiiiiiig ninedays fans) this "you're fucking nuts" look, good times, good times. If they end up busting out with some of that, I'll call you. :-)

They do two sets. One from 10pm - 11pm, and then another from 11:30pm-12:30am. Of course, Monday night the second set went until like, 12:45. But that's because John was being stupid and trying to play a song they didn't know when he KNEW we wanted to hear This Music, but nooooooo he told us he was going to play it, then busted out with a pathetic attempt on Where You Going Now. Then of course he realized how silly this move was, and went back to playing This Music. Then of course there was Still Rock and Roll to Me, which he claimed he play next week, but then Brian started playing it ,and we all harrassed John to sing it......

Ahh, good times, good times.
