For Immediate Release: Music in the Barn: singer/songwriter night at a historic site What: Long Island Songwriters Showcase at The Conklin Barn 2 rounds of the finest songwriting happening on Long Island Who: Rick Eberle (of Iridesense), Akiva, Sean Llewellyn (of the LI Bel Airs) and Alan Semerdjian (formerly of Surreal and Milquetoast) with very special guest Brian Desveaux (of Nine Days) The event is sponsored by PopCore Entertainment and AlanArts.
Where: The Conklin Barn (property of the Huntington Historical Society) 2 High Street and New York Avenue 2 lights south of Main Street in Huntington, NY Why: Some of the best songwriters east of NYC show us that you don't have to travel to Manhattan to see and hear the real thing. Depth, melody, maturity, and crafted pop sensibility and its right here in your backyard and in an intimate historic space.
When: Friday, July 9th and Friday, August 13th and every second friday thereafter! from 7:30pm (barn doors open) till 11pm $5 minimum suggested donation covers costs for the evening (includes beverages & snacks)
