john mayer wanna be?

I was searching for John Mayer guitar tabs on google the other day and an ad for this guy named Andy Shelton came up. It said "The next John Mayer? or Dave Matthews? No, he's the next Andy Shelton." so I checked out his site and although the sound clips he has on there are low quality he is acctually a good songwriter. I can't decided if he is too much like john or if he has his own sound. He has more of a jazz sound than john. but his lyrics are amazing like john. His site is www.andyshelton.com. what Do you all think? Should we support this guy or is he just an imitator.

haha, i actually checked out akiva a while ago (thanks to katie and lori and all yous who were crazy about him) and i actually must say that he is pretty damn good and gets my vote for the john/john wannabe
