You see. Macs are seemingly the 'simpletons' equivalent of a PC. They are 'pretty', they have a limited software library and they are some of the most expensive fuckers to fix, when, and I hate to tell you people who like Macs, they crash pretty much as often as a typical Windows machine running XP.... discounting the mindfield that appears to be 'SP2' anyway.... P
And atleast Windows put a little colour in their error windows... Haha. ) Seriously though, whereas a typical PC component can be picked up at any half decent computer retailer at a competitive price; Mac components are not quite so off the shelf; sending the system away to have a component fixed at a hefty labour cost and for a premium because you have no other vendors does not sound very economical to me. And before anybody says 'Yeah but Apple invented the mouse...' thats lies. Xerox invented the mouse, Apple 'half-inched' (pinched) it and Windows did the same. Except. Microsoft improved the mechanics of the damn thing so that we can all 'right click reload' in our favourite FPS's. Post Edited (10-30-04 10:11)

-Windows.
-Macintosh. -Linux. ^ Which of these names do you see when you turn the thing on. Its the Operating System (OS) I'm talking about. Not the hardware vendor. My vote goes with 'Windows XP Home Edition' and I reckon you might be on some version of the 'Toshiba Satelite Pro'... Am I close? )
WHoa right on the button there bud. You're one smaaaaart person!
~*Taylor* P.S. Word of advice to anyone? Dont buy Toshiba... I've had sooo many hard wear problems with my laptop and basically its a piece of junk. It breaks sooo easily and needs to be fixed like every few months. The CD burner stoped working, the CD reader stoped working, and the fan inside stoped working too! And I dont even beat up my laptop either, I take really nice care of it. ~*wOOt!*
Hmmm.. I've heard of at least three people that have had troubles with a dell. Course one was used when she got it, so who knows what the person before did to it 'cause that thing was a major piece of crap.
