Well, they're not the Clash, the Ramones or the Sex Pistols, but...
I don't know, they're okay.
However, I will say this: I think that all these pop-"punk" bands that people seem to hate are the bastard offspring of Green Day. So if you don't like A Simple Plan, blame Green Day.
i blame Green Day for setting the standard too high for these other bands.

They're not The Jam either who are sooooo underrated in the punk genre. Paul Weller was so much younger than J.Strummer et al at the time yet kept up with the pace.
And tghen there is the fact that only P.Weller & J.Strummer managged to break the mold & bring in other influences like jazz & ska with any success!!

I'd definetely buy it, Take Me To The Hospital, Within Your Reach and Color Me Impressed are all great songs. It's definetely a plus that you can pick it up at a used record store for $4-$8 (Or 2-4 pounds or whatever it works out to over there right now)

Genesis - I just talked to my friend who lived in England for two year, and she said if you can find a US eBay or Amazon seller who has used CDs and ships worldwide you can save a great deal of money, so maybe you can try that.
