top 3 singing voices

Hell yeah whoever said Raine Maida, his voice is one of the better unique/strange voices out there.

There are so many to list! And it's kinda a personal preferance thing, some people can't stand jason wade, likewise for john mayer (although I think john's got a great voice).

1: Ed Kowalczyk (Live) - Especially on throwing copper (the greatest album in modern times IMO)
2: Jim Adkins (Jimmy Eat World)
3: Jason Kerrison (OpShop) - This guy has just got to be seen live, not once has he ever missed a beat, amazing.

And for the girls, Sarah Mclachlan wins hands down.

I forgot Darren Hayes and Morrissey from my list before. Those two definately deserve an honourable mention.

Adistantlight, you say you know Clouseau? They're from Belgium and totally not popular outside Belgium and The Netherlands. Cool if you know them though.

Genesis, what do you mean? You know The Bees (U.S.)? There are two bands called "The Bees", one from the UK, one from the US... The last one is a local band from Nashville and don't tell me lots of people know them.

I guess you're talking about The Bees from the UK, with Free The Bees (album) and Wash In The Rain (great song). Also a great band a great vocals, and a popular band indeed. You know 'em. I wasn't talkin' about them, Daniel Tashian is not the singer of "your" Bees...

jim adkins from jimmy eat world does have a really good voice. i'd put him in my top 10 if this list was a top 10 list.

I'm in the minority that prefer his solo material to his Police output, though. 'Ten Summoners Tales' and 'Brand New Day' are nothing less than masterpieces.
