I have the new album, it's only so-so overall. There's about 5 strong songs on it, and about 6 clunkers. I feel bad cause I was sure I was gonna like it cause of Butch Walker's strong presence in the making of it, but alas it didn't go over so well. It seems like with every CD the bands getting worse, too bad cause their debut showed such strong potential.

I had no idea they were releasing another album!

I thought they had been dropped by their label!

I am now a substantially happier man this evening!

Thank you!

After Island dropped them out, they recorded Hearts On Parade Independently. It was released in Japan and only after that Maverick signed them.
I have The CD, and I'm sorry to tell you man it's not what i expected at all. I like the song "Something Real" but the rest is pretty lame.
I loved their debut album (self-titled) - almost every song is good (especially Surround, Another Perfect Day, What About Today).
Their 2nd Album (Art Of Losing) is so-so (i loved Save Me, This Is The Sound. The Gold Rush is also nice to hear sometime).
The new one i don't like, but they deserve to succeed. so good luck.

I have had Hearts on Parade for over a year or so and frankly its poor.
Lead track Mabye Wont Do does not exactly set the heart rate going and the best track is Geeks Get the Girls. Most of the other songs are either ok or below par so its nothing special really.

They will never top their superb self titiled debut imo.

'Geeks Get the Girls'.

Yeah, and my names's 'Mary' on a weekend. If there were any truth to that title I'd be... well I'd be...

...

I'd be a bespectacled, and substantially younger, Hugh Heffner. Haha.

Right on Shir, except my favorite track on their debut is "My Only Enemy" followed closely by "I'm A Fool." As for the the new one, I like "Where Did We Go Wrong", "The Everlasting Fall", "Something Real" and the first two ("Maybe Won't Do" and "Hell Yea" are ok once in awhile.)

And Sketch; never underestimate the geek. I've lost out on girls to REALLY geeky guys before. Over the summer there was a girl I was crazy about, which actually led to me breaking up with my girlfriend of almost 2 years and I missed out on her because she was head over heels for the head of the Math and Chess Clubs at her school. I'm somewhat geeky myself, so I'd have to put my faith that you CAN get the girls.

Yes, I tend to like the nerdy guys myself... don't know if you all remember the GA I thought was cute, but he was very nerdy. They just tend to have cuter personalities, to me.

'Another Perfect Day' cremated that other popular single for me. As did 'I'm A Fool'.

So my brother likes to make fun of me cuz I have a tendancy to like many guys at once.... so he came up with new words for this song

Her boyfriends
They dont know
Anything, about the others
Theres the bball player
And one on saxophone
She wishes that they dont ever see
they're just the flavors of the week.

Hahah I think it's pretty witty personally....... I love my brother. He also happeneds to have 7 girlfrineds right now. I just dont know how he does it!
