American Cars vs. Imports
I need to know where everyone stands on this.
I have debates (email wars) every day with people I work with regarding this. Im on the side of the imports. I could go on and on about the Japanese making far superior vehicles in every way shape and form, but frankly I think it would go to waste on most of you. But thats ok. I know that some of you here are car people. Lets hear it. This is an excerpt from the last email I wrote to these imbeciles who think America makes great vehicles. "One asian 10yr old making $40 a week at the Toyota plant has a better work ethic than Bubba in the Midwest coming in hung over making chevys after watching NASCAR and drinking beer all weekend.."
I drive a Japanese car.
I don't know about the quality of cars much, and don't care much whether it's American or foreign. I'm sure all the car folks here will denounce American cars, but I'd like to own a Chevy some day. ^ What he said.
Chevrolette are attempting to enter the British car market as we speak. Which may prove to be good news for you Americans. In order to sell any acceptable volume of automobiles to stay in the European sector, they're going to need to learn how to do it properly, first. Haha.
i'm on the fence really but i lean toward import more often than not. I drive a japanese car, i'd buy a japanese car or whatever else, but i must admit my heart races when i hear a 300HP engine flex it's muscle
oh yea, and mazda's have the greatest engines ever, the least moving parts make them the most efficient cars out there (excluding hybrids) Rock on... Kevin I wanna be with you forever, and tomorrows not too late... "Beware the fury of a patient man" ~John Dryden
On a similar note..I just got this PM'ed to me on a car BBS. Anyone wanna join up? Got a super car and $30,000 lying around? http://www.ultimaterally.com/
