Lola is a great song. Layla's good, too - acoustic and rockin'.

yes, i mean the unplugged version of layla. both versions are so good, but the original rockin' version beats it by a little bit.

I love Crowded house - RIP Paul Hestor, and Neil and Tim Finn's new album is fantastic! They've been touring europe lately, but neil got told to go rest cos he's suffering stress.
Distant Sun, Better be home soon, Four seasons in one day, Fall at your feet, Weather with you, Don't dream it's over, It's only natural, Chocolate cake....just some of the best CH songs ever! Check em out
'Always getting over you' is on my American Pie 2 album. I really like it. Can sort of identify with the lyrics I guess.
Haven't heard anything else by Miss. Ammons though. Elevator Suite - Backaround I fucking loooooooove this track right now. Its about six minutes long, is fun audible awesomeness and is exactly the tune I've been waiting to find to accompany my third year animation project which I am so excited about I find myself bouncing about quite giddily, just discussing it. I stumbled on it quite by accident whilst rifling through my cracking rock/indie compilation albums. Its got the riff, the catchy vocal (which suites the concept of my idea 100%) and is very fun and varied, giving me plenty to work with. It was written for the concept I'm working with, I tells ya! ... Aah... Its great when what you do by day, makes your day.
i've been having a bad couple days (actually, the last two weeks have sucked balls, so currently i'm listening to Linkin Park (ft. Jay Z) - 99 problems

Can I say how much I love Stereo MCs "Connected"? And EMF "Unbelievable".
I got Schubert Dip from either BMG or Columbia House back in the early 90s and at the time, I would usually only listen to the singles. So when I first got it, I probably only listened to it once, if that. Then sometime in late '97 early '98 I stuck it in my tape player (remember those?) and for some reason, really got into it and listened to it non stop for a couple of weeks. Then a year or two ago, I decided to upgrade to the CD, but this time when I listened to it...I wasn't feeling it. Kula Shaker is one of those bands that I want to get their CDs, but I never think about getting them at the time when I can spend money. I have their EP Summer Sun, which I like. And actually, since I'm here, I might as well ask, what are you listening to? CDs, radio, MP3s? Sofi & Sketch seem to be listening to MP3s. Recently, I've been going through my CD collection and listening to albums I haven't listened to in a while. Right now, I've got the Benjamin Gate - Contact in my CD player. And I'm listening to track 5, Overkill, a Men at Work cover. Post Edited (04-22-05 00:14)
No idea Kev. Stumbled across them on PureVolume and I simply left it playing.
