the all-american rejects

i don't know if anyone likes them, but you can listen to their new single "move along" from their upcoming album of the same name on their website. i must say that i like it a lot. it's very layered, and i dig the piano and the parts that slow down and the progression and such. they're not like your typical pop-punk band... at least that's what i think.

no, bands like simple plan and good charlotte are your typical pop-punk band. i think the all-american rejects have more heartfelt personal lyrics and passion in their music while remaining kinda fun and poppy. just my opinion, of course.

I thought the first album of thiers was fairly good...with some nice lyrics as

previously said.I think that would set them apart from good charlotte etc or

atleast a little better.I thought that album was slightly over-produced

though but for an 18 year old to put out that kind of album is

impressive.Now they are a little older we'll see how this new album is....

Same with me. I actually was thinkin of a different band while i read this thread and just remembered i have their cd sitting on my desk. I wouldn't exactly call it pop-punk though but hey. I used to really like the cd, but I put it in a few weeks ago and my tastes have grown. It sounds very fake and boring to me now, very manufactured almost.
