No, it's neither more or less susceptible to anything. However, if you don't clean it properly, there could be a problem. But as long as you don't live in a third world country, it's not too hard to clean. I mean, every guy touches himself in the shower anyway, so you just have to lather up with soap before you do.

Yes, it is true from what girls have told me. And yes it makes you SLIGHTLY less susceptible to contracting STDs during unprotected sex, not enough to make a large difference but there is some according to my doctor.
