Hahahaha.
In all fairness, Star Wars is more Fantasy than Sci-Fi... -Mike Go listen to my band. We're awesome. http://www.myspace.com/rosencrantzny weallgotwoodandnails
star wars is great. the first two prequels were subpar (II being better than I), but this third one should be sweet... but i still doubt it'll be as good as the originals (the best being Empire, of course).

The way I see it the new movie has to be good because they have to kill off virtually all of the jedi during the course of the movie.

spaceballs is a horrible movie... only has a few funny moments. other than that, the humor falls flat. give me young frankenstein, the producers, and the cream of the crop, blazing saddles - now those are mel brooks movies.

Wha, wha, what??? You don't like spaceballs? There's something you don't see everyday. Not so bad though when you think I have a piano playing friend that doesn't like billy joel. He is crazy.

The Producers = best Brooks movie
And yes, Katie, I am a Star Wars person. Heh. I get it from George - he's a *freak* for that stuff. I remember when they rereleased A New Hope, Robin (his girlfriend at the time) came back afterwards and was like "He recited the ENTIRE FRIGGIN MOVIE TO ME under his breath." Heh. ~lori~
billy joel = great
spaceballs = less than great ~ Eric of Wisconsin ~ Nine Days and John Hampson music featured in my independent feature film "Will and Testament"! Facebook Page for "Will and Testament" IMDB Page for "Will and Testament"
i'm turning it into a spaceballs/billy joel discussion, but if anyone wants to bring star wars back into the equation, feel free to.

But the empire tracks them all down and kills them none the less. Should make for some good fight scenes.

Dude, Empire's great. Don't get me wrong. It's got the ominous ending, it's got the biggest shocker in movie history (maybe that's a stretch, maybe not), and it's kick-ass.
But Jedi... Jedi's got the Ewoks, it's got Lando, it's got Jabba and Boba Fett, Yoda awesomeness, big lightsaber battle, Palpatine, the second Death Star... Jedi >>> Empire >>> New Hope >>> Clones >>>>>>> Menace -Mike Go listen to my band. We're awesome. http://www.myspace.com/rosencrantzny weallgotwoodandnails
Ohh I thought you were saying in the movies, didn't realize you were talking about the films themselfves. I do agree Return of the Jedi is the most awesome.
