Well everyone, it's now nine days until I get on a plane all by myself to fly to a far away city to be greeted by my knight on shining armor, none other then my beloved Boston John. I'm flying there to go to his prom.. and I'm uber excited. Ive never stayed at his house before, or met any of his friends, so I dont know what to expect! Any words of wisdom from anyone to calm my quaking fears?

WOW okay so who wants to hear my sad story? So I'm supposed to be in Boston right now.... but two days ago B.John calls me and says... uhm by the way, just making sure I told you you cant come to my prom anymore and I tried so hard to change the rules, but you're out of state and they wont let out of state guests come. So I was like.... bummmmer that sucks but at least I can still come and see you! And the two of us decided we would have a great time none the less... but then his mom calls and talks to my mom and my mom was all pressuring me into not going because now it would be wierd because there was no dance and my mom made me make a dsecision to go or not and I felt I wasnt as welcomed to Johns house any more and it was so sad and I decided not to go becuase it seemed like they didnt want me to... but it turns out my mom was just saying that and B.John really did want to see me even if he had to miss his dance if I came and now I'm so sqd becuase I gave up the opportunity of seeing him and it's all my own stupid fault. Arghghhg I'm sooo sadddddd.... and I even had the BEST suprise planned for him..... ahahaha ;-) Eh but anyway.... thats about it....

Aww that sucks. Other times  ). Surprises do rock. (How come no-one say 'rock my socks' anymore? People used to say that lots.) I've been warned for many for monday. It makes me nervous!

I got a pair of flip flops and have been wearing them... they hurt my toes, haha. It's nice to just slip them on though, my other shoes take forever to put on compared to sandals.

I find it's a bit of a bitch to run in said footwear though. There is sort of a knack to it, but you run the risk of appearing like a nutter.
I found a pair of birkenstocks in my brother's closet and I love them. Sooo comfy.

When you walk down steep hills, and your feet slide forwards, and the bit between your toes, cuts inbetween your toes, it hurts. I tend to end up taking them off normally. The world is better without shoes.
