Hey there, all...so, yes, alot has happened in the last few weeks...i will try to cover all the bases here...Jeremy is out of the band...he was not asked to leave, he made the choice himself...it basically boils down to the band steadily going in a more 'guitar driven' direction coupled with his growing weariness of the bulls%#t that this business puts you through...at the end of the day, i think he just felt that he wasnt able to musically put as much into or get as much out of the band as he needed to in order to continue to live in the unstable environment that being in a band inherently creates...that was mouthful, right? there are no hard feelings here...it was a disappointment to us when he made his decision but we will move on...we are NOT replacing him...we will continue on as a four-piece...poetically, Me, Brian, Nick and Keith are the same four who started it 9 years ago...i can 100% honestly say that, with all due respect to Jeremy, i am vey excited about the future of ninedays...i have written alot of new songs and we are going to start playing more and more 'brand new' music live...we will most likely leave "So Happily Unsatsified" as it is (with MAYBE 1 or 2 new songs) and look for a summer release...but it depends on how fast we can get all the proper legal paperwork taken care of with Sony...we will announce all the tantalizing details when its FOR REAL...i am so tired of speculating and i KNOW you are too! more soon...thanks for all the love and support.

"you wont hear me, still you endear me, now..woo woo"
What a shock...I guess everything changes.
I'm curious to see what it will be like to hear the band with all the changes even though it'll be wierd not seeing Jeremy on stage doing his handstands.

So what's gonna happen when the old songs that had keys in them are played live?
Bummer. I loved the fact that you guys had keys in some of your songs. It was rad. I love rock songs with good piano/moog.

i was thinking that same thing...so 257 is never going to get played again? and the sax songs, what about those?
*sigh*
no more 257.. but i thought brian could play the sax

I bet they've already thought of a new and exciting version of 257 Weeks.
I absolutely love her when she smiles
"but i thought brian could play the sax"
hahahahahhahahah
and i gave up on 257 a looooooooooong time ago.

&&the time i'll waste, just to say goodbye&&
I think the boys should make another LI concert so we can hear how they play now. It would be interesting to hear 257 weeks without Jeremy, too strange to think that at the moment.

they could always just program a keyboard.. like i do..... i mean... i play the sax and my freind plays the guitar.. so i program the keyboard to play bass and chords as a backup.. adn we got a killer drum machine.... but i haven't played w. him in a while.. i'm gonna give him a call..
s [insanesanity]
LOL, imagine what that would do to jeremys self confidence.
"yes jeremy, you were so expendable we have decided to replace you with a machine."
jeremy is irreplaceable.
not to say that programming a keyboard isnt perfectly plausible, it just struck me as funny...

God bless machines.
I absolutely love her when she smiles
this is just another way to torture those who wanna hear 257, right?
JOKING. *NOTE THAT I'M JOKING*

Yes, Hilary my lovie, they've played 257 a bunch of times in the recent past, but never for you, me sowwie.
Jeremy could never be replaced. I'll miss him greatly. ( I wish him the best in everything, but honey you shall be missed so much.

As a Brit I ain't see Nine Days yet, and maybe never will. But this news is really disappointing, I felt keyboards really rounded the overall sound off. However guys you still have my full support in anything you do, whatever direction you take.
Jeremy is out of the band??????? that's really bad but anyway, best wishes for everyone... LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
Since Venezuela!
Generalmente los destellos mientras mas cortos mas bellos!

Brian ALWAYS get love. Nick is awesome he's just really quite and is not really around on the board or e-mail or anything. But when you talk to him he def. is cool.
~MeLiSsA
you're right.
nick is awesome and everyone should give him love because where is ninedays without a bass player?
right?
right.

You guys rock, and I know you'll still be awesome live...
But, what can I say? I love Jeremy's Hammond organ...and will really miss it cuz the organ makes rock songs so much cooler.
