Mr. Rice is a little bit of a genius. And SO much better live than on the CD. SO much better.

The album or the song?

It was written when the band members were going in seperate directions with everything. Described as the sound of a band breaking up by Matt. While writing it he was recovering from throat surgery and couldn't talk, let alone sing, and I also believe that during the recording he and his girlfriend (who is now his wife) split up after some 8 years together.

But they got back together, and now we get "Song For The Girl" and "It's Been A While Since I Was Your Man."

I think that's the deal, anyway. I dunno about "Truffle Pigs" other than I've never heard the word "****" sound so beautiful before. That's a "lay in the dark and be morose" album.

'Round Here' live in Paris 94 is unreal...stunning,as previously mentioned

Anna Begins is also amazing, the progression of the song is breath-

taking..Im waiting for the CC to bring out a new alum and hoping they

revisit the genius of A.A.E.A

Really? Some deep tracks on it....listen to the way he sings 'Time & Time

again'and the lyrics of 'Raining in Balitimore'! 'Mr Jones' is a good party tune

though.
