Sorry Bri...avoiding the city at all costs because of this transit strike. Plus, I'm actually working now, and cannot afford to be coming home at 12:30, 1 in the morning, and getting up at 6, 6:30 for work the next morning. I don't function well on less than 6 hours sleep.

I know, I suck. Next time though.

Sorry Lou, with the *impending* strike, as a deal has yet to be agreed on. Whatever - strike or no strike, I can't go. The possible strike is just making it that much of a bleaker chance of me going.

the strike **** is confusing me and my boyfriend, he sees all delays and extra costs...idk if hes right but idk if the chance is something i should take. im scheduled to work and i was gonna either switch days with someone or call out (real responsible I know) but now with the strike crap idk if i should chance it

ok, i'm loving rush hour traffic right about now.

Im somwhat relieved to hear that.

Drving is not an option. Not worth the pain and aggravation. Also can't get piss drunk (like I normally do)


LIRR into Penn would be an hour---walking the 35 blocks to bleeker in the 30degree cold...

then walking or $40 cab back to Penn to fight with everyone to get back on the train and possibly have to stand the entire way home.

Doesn't sound pleasant.

have a great time tonite...i cant fight my way there its way too cold to walk.
parts of the city to drive you have to have a car pool i believe 3-4 people total or something...i couldnt drive in the city cuz i would die and i dont have that many people so im outa luck and its too late to switch work...oh well...maybe next time even tho i really wanted to come this time...I blame the MTA and they suck!
