thats very common, and its pretty sad, i think that the whales are a pretty cools animals, one day i will have one eye rolling smiley

Wales can be pretty big over there, relative to the size of the country.

Whales are forever beaching themselves here.
There was a pod beached at new years just up from were we were, we were going to go help at the next high tide... but they ended up having to shoot them. I was gutted, would have loved to help them, i've never seen a whale up close. I have swum with dolphins though, soooooooooo cool! Amazing creatures.

Aww poor thing. I saw him in the flesh on friday afternoon. I like the "makeshift whale mattress" idea.
