'His Masters Voice' is a very old record store chain in the UK. Known these days only by the anagram, 'HMV'.

Seems like if we had it here, it'd be at the Mall of America, and I don't think it is. Looks like an interesting store though.

It's stupid and overpriced and full of far too many 12 year old boys looking at games and they have major issues with letting you listen to something before you buy it and their ridiculous singles' cases with their ridiculously strong and tight plastic grips make ridiculous people like me who are both clumsy and horrendously excited at being able to listen to said single with proper earphones for the first time BREAK the stupid disk because the plastic grips do not ease when you push them like they're supposed to. And then they just make you angry. And they suck.

Yeah, I guess I'm not really a huge fan of that type of store. Best Buy is alright, but the little stores that just sell CDs and stuff like that, I don't like as much. They do seem to be overpriced, too, like you said. It looks like a cute little store though, the way the picture looks.

number one, sophie go to virgin... its equally overpriced and you'll find the same 12yr old boys looking at games... but at least its nice and red ;o)

HMV is overpriced just like most high street stores, but we only think this because we can do so much better online, like play.com or amazon.
