Actually, even though its a teen show like The OC, Everwood is very different. The OC has a really good balance of comedy v. overdone drama, whereas Everwood (which focuses more on the familial aspect of a cocky surgeon father suddenly being forced to be a single dad, after his wife dies, and learning how to parent the children who's lives he was not a part of for most of their lives) is much more dramatic and focuses alot more on realistic family situations.
Although, that's my description of the first and second years of Everwood...I haven't watched it the last two years, as the show went to complete **** in its third and fourth years with the changing of head writers...
