Sushi

ok-- this stuff is really off the charts

I tried sushi THREE times spanning over 10 years and never liked it at all. I figured that after you try it that many times you write it off..

forward... multiple years

I now was JONESING for sushi.. went out to my local awesome sushi joint.. sat at the sushi bar, ordered sake, got some good stuff.. made some friends..ate the green peas..or whatever they are called, mixed the wasabi with soy sauce, asked the sushi chef to make something he has never made before (it was awesome.. something he called the "fantastic four") and now can't stop thinking about it.

Sushi now rocks.

Thoughts?

I read recently that most sushi isn't raw these days.

Never had it before, was like "Oh, that's gross," but I've recently developed this whole "You're going to die before you've lived a century and history just considers a century a flash in the pan," thing so I tried it. Had some tuna. It was absolutely amazing.

Why d'you have to pay extra for something they don't even bother to cook?

Because if they don't prepare it properly you can die or get parasitic worms in your brain.

I saw on the TV about this one fellow who ate fresh water sushi and got the worms in his brain. Took fifteen years to clear up or something insane.

Mmmm

Oh. Well then, they should feel free to charge as much as they like.

yes.. a good time was had by all.

1. I love sushi.

2. Frank ( the sushi chef) is a troublemaker.

3. The sake-bombs werent nearly as potent as they should have been. Although Im sure Rachel would disagree.
