What are the actual words in "Reality TV?"

Is it "American I don't have it" or "American Idol having..."

I always heard American Idol when I listened to it and figured it fit since it's reality tv and, but all these sites say the first one.

I believe it's:

"American Idol having someone else create myself"

i have no idea, but I hear "American, and I don't have some one else to create myself."

doesn't quite make sense, though...
