What Ninedays song do you think would be good for Graduation?
Ok guys, I'm graduating June 4th from Homeschool with my Church and we're supposed to have a song playing while they show pictures of us from when we were little until now. So of course I want a Ninedays song playing, what do you guys think a good song would be?

just some ones that weren't mentioned, "long hard road" "road you go down" "don't look back" (for those of you who didn't enjoy high school i guess) "i'm still here" (haha, for those of you failing high school ;o) just kiddin'....)
i would prob. go with good friend too, just cause that's a good song for going away. i gave that to one of my friends on a cd before she moved away. she cried when she listened to the song.....I miss her man...i knew her since first grade......Katie..... Rock on... Kevin I wanna be with you forever, and tomorrows not too late... "Beware the fury of a patient man" ~John Dryden
::sighs:: high school flashbacks...
well, i can tell you that my entire senior year was spent trying to get everyone to vote "good friend" as our graduation song. needless to say, it ended up being the typical "time of your life" by green day. fine. whatever. i dont care. i dont know about you guys, but at our prom nobody stays the entire time. right before me and my friends left, i ran to find my best friend matt to tell him that i was leaving but he told me that i wasnt allowed to leave yet. my senior year matt wasnt only of of the captains of the football team, but he also made an awesome class president which gave him all rights to do pretty much whatever the hell he wanted. he led me up to the dance floor in front of everyone and took the mic from the dj booth. he went on to tell everyone that the year was great and our high school careers were coming to a close blah blah blah and then he started to get into how the two of us had been friends since 3rd grade. all he can say was how much of a great friend i was and how we were always there for each other and what not- when he nodded to the dj and "good friend" came on. the two of us sat there like babies hugging and crying uncontrollably. we looked around and everyone had tears in their eyes as they listened to the song. i'll never forget that so yea...good friend is the way to go. .yay. -amy "dont wish- dont start wishing only wounds the heart" "dude, i'm old" ~jeremy
i don't remember what my graduation song was because, oh yeah, i hated high school with a passion and couldn't wait for it to end. it was a total waste of four years, i didn't learn a goddamn thing, and the people made me sick. fuckin' teeny bopper cocky condenscending egotistic nasty ass hole pieces of shite. err.... so many bad memories.

funny you should ask this because for my graduation from my school 2yrs ago, myself and 2 friends did an acoustic version of bitter called 'better'. We had violin, piano, guitar and 2 vocals. It was really quite moving and it introduced the 180+ people in my year to ninedays. The lyrics were a bit cringey but were apt for the day that was in it, stuff like "If i could change anything, i wouldnt change anything. these better days...etc". I emailed john around the time and told him about it. he asked for a copy but i never sent it on. Still have the video at home though, quite amusing now so im glad i didnt send it johns way.
Like a few people have said 'good friend' is probs your bet for a graduation as the lyrics are quite fitting. Although wot they say about school being the best days of your life is crap. wait till you get to uni, thats when it all starts...
