On the July 27, 2000 Easton Town Center bootleg, at the end of "Video Killed the Radio Star", John asks the crowd if they feel like singing, then starts to play "Stairway to Heaven". The clip of the song ends, and then goes to "Absolutely".
First, did the band do a full-length cover of Stairway to Heaven? Then, if so, does anyone have a recording of it (assuming

Yes, I am getting ahead of myself and the band. I am grateful for the new album, which I think is greatness. But every time Nine Days puts something out, I get it, and I begin to want even more. Despite seven albums, numerous bootlegs, and other non-album songs, I will always want more.
That said, what songs do you think will make it to Slow Motion Life (part 2), assuming that's the ti

Frank Yallop is the reason the Galaxy will have a chance at MLS Cup. If they still had Steve Sampson as their coach, they could have the entire Brazilian national team and still not win.

Well, when I was looking for a new guitar, I swore to myself I wasn't going to be cliche and get a Stratocaster. Yet, a deal came along and I got me one. I have to say I love it. I might have the stock pickups replaced (I would love to replace the bridge single w/ a humbucker...), but it works great. But if you're really into getting something "different" from fender, here

Fulham really is Team America. They've got McBride, Bocanegra, and Dempsey; and another "semi-American": Simon Elliot. He played in MLS for a while, then Fulham bought him after they played Columbus Crew in a friendly over the summer a couple years ago.

A Girl In California- I really liked the acoustic demo John gave us a while back, almost to the point of thinking it shouldn't be changed. I love the added harmonies by Brian and the overall "additions" to the song. The song itself didn't change much, but the new instrumentation adds so much to it.
Suddenly- great pop song. There's a reason this was on the AA Top of 2

Oh wow, that was awesome. I think "Worth Fighting For" is my favorite, but I love it all.

Apparently it's not the 9days myspace page that is the problem, seeing as everyone else can listen. I can't get songs on multiple other myspace pages to play. Talk about major suckage.

Well, I am not a record company, but wouldn't it make at least some sort of sense to sell SHU? They own the master tapes, but they would not be forced to do any sort of promotion. Then split a deal with the band as to who gets how much; but I guess that's where the problem is, seeing as they don't want to even talk about negotiating.

Is anyone else having problems hearing the stuff on the 9days myspace page? My CD has arrived, but I have to drive 2 hours to the place where I had it shipped to, so I haven't been able to hear any of the new stuff.

Of the four songs up there, I can only hear "Worth Fighting For", but this sounds like it will be money very well spent. I want to hear more.

$400,000 of his salary is paid by the league (the league pays all player salaries, not individual teams). Only this $400,000 counts against the salary cap, as part of the "Designated Player Rule", which allows teams to pay a player more than $400,000, but only that $400K counts against the cap.
$9 million per year will be paid by the Antshutz Entertainment Group, the company who owns

"Two of my good friends work for Sony/Epic and they were under the impression that Nine Days owns the rights to the masters and copyrights to any SHU material.....I would be careful."
I guess I'll be the one to bring it up ...
If the band owns the copyrights, why can they not sell the album themselves?

"...we own the copyrights and they cannot be commercially or publically released..."
At least I know now the band has the copyrights, and not the label. Now, why they can't be commercially or publicly released, probably has something to do with a "label full of monkeys trying to spike our hair."

I like it; very nicely done. So many times with songs like that (or at least with songs like how I interpret yours) it's possible to over-do things and be very cliche. Yet you managed to avoid being cliche, and have written something I wish I could say I wrote. Congratulations! You don't happen to have a recording of it, do you?

Now, if only Lamar Hunt would sell my Crew to an owner who cared, and they also started winning, I'd be happy.

Ronaldo and Beckham I would gladly welcome. Figo, you can make a case that he is more "past their prime" (which is what people seem to be saying about any potential star-to-MLS candidate) than the others. Regardless, though, its good to see the league trying to bring in big-name/game players, but at the same time limiting it in order to avoid the path of the NASL to destruction.
