What are you thinking/doing right now?
This is so crazy. So last year for jazz band 5 alto players auditioned and they let all of us in though three in a band is kind of alot. This year there are at least 10 auditioning and i seriously doubt they will let in even six, so 've been practicing tons in hopes i make it in and in a decent part. Oy

I just had the most insanely brilliant idea for our alcohol-infused 'Ani GDS' fundraiser. Seriously. It's got 'paraletic' written all over it.

I get paid in a week, hell yes, and as a plus I get bonus money as I didn't take any holiday! (I only work weekend afternoons before you tell me I should take holidays). Also more money as I have worked 45 hours this week! :-D

Wes! I'm in jaxx band too and I love it. We only have two altos though... but I really do hope you make it. About 700 kids total try out for the one and I made and by some miracle of life I made the trumpet section! It's the most fun thing ever and I realllly love it! (28 days until BOSTON!)

I'm thinking that Donald Sutherland as the mental, hippy tank commander 'Oddball' in the classic wartime film 'Kellys Heros' is perhaps one of the greatest characters of all time. The 'dude' even pimped his own tank, and the scene where they're in the middle of a Nazi onslaught and he's reclining on a deckchair 'catching some rays' is just... quality.

Really? That's kinda sad. We were talking about it ina discussion of THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL in my RE class today. It was semi-interesting.
However, 5 different people have asked me on 5 separate occasions today whether I'm on drugs. I find this strange.

Can you use regular stamps to send things abroad? And just stick an Airmail sticker on it?

Couldn't tell you. The card I paid precise postage for hasn't showed up to surprise Rachel on her birthday at the BBQ yet...
Maybe it'll show up in time for next years? Or maybe some random kid in Venezuela is tentatively thumbing open the envelope and wondering why I spelt his name 'Rachel'?

Modern wizardry. Decent 5.1 headphones are lushious. Though a subwoofer strapped to the side of your head is a tad unnerving at first. Heh.
Mail makes me worry all the time. I'm always wondering if my letters will ever get anywhere?
